Where: Cruise ship, dummy!

Why: Let's get to know each other before we all die!

It's a beautiful night. A full moon. The stars are in the sky, and the dining room is open to the fresh air. It's the first night of the cruise, and it's a great time to start meeting people! I'm sure everything will be fine. Nothing could possibly go wrong on a night like this...

"Helena, that's quite a pretty name." Jules certainly sounds like she believes it, and her handshake matches Helena's firm grip, but there's just a little brush of her thumb along the back of the woman's hand. It's almost as if Julia is testing the softness of the pale skin there, and wondering just how much of the rest of it matches that same sensation. Sometimes Julia could be quite the terrible flirt. Well, most of the time she could be a terrible flirt, and it was something that apparently was going to double while during their vacation.

"Nope, can't ever say that I have been on one before. I like it though! A shit ton of free drinks," with that, Julia raised her monstrosity and took another large sip of it before she spoke again. "Good food, excellent company and lots of staterooms where one can get into all manners of mischief." Mischief of course came with a smirk and a wink, because what is subtly when you are one Julia Bellamy.

"Thank you," she responded. Helena didn't get that compliment much. Of course, she'd been using the name Emily Lake since she'd retired from the Warehouse. But now she was back to using Helena because she didn't like lying more than she had to about who she was. And, frankly, that was what had doomed her relationship with Nate, the fact that she'd lied about who she was.

As Julia was testing the softness of her skin, Helena did take note. And she would be pleased to know that Helena did keep her skin very soft. Moisturizer and lotion was a thing she liked to use.

Helena chuckled. "One can never argue with free drinks." She took a sip of her own drink, eyeing Julia. "Oh indeed, there are plenty of ways to get into mischief. The more creative, the better," she mirrored Julia's smirk. And Helena definitely meant what she said. She liked being creative in all aspects of her life. It was, quite frankly, the spice of life. And if someone could keep up with her in the bedroom? Even better. "Besides, it would be a travesty to allow such excellent rooms to go to waste by not using them." While the sights of the ocean were amazingly beautiful, and there was plenty of other things to do on the ship, there was beauty and fun to be had within the staterooms as well.

"I do so happen to be rather fond of creative mischief." Julia's voice was a long draw and she probably was being terribly rude to everyone else aboard the ship right now, but she was quite fond of flirting and everything that went along with it. Especially if it happened to be with a beautiful woman who was offering all sorts of fun little ideas even without actually saying the words. Yes, this trip was quite possibly the best idea that she'd had in ages.

When she got home, she really was going to need to tell David how he should have come along with her because of just how fun it was. If only she knew about what was going to happen between now and when they docked.

But, for now, Julia just finished off the drink that she'd been savoring, and she set it back on the bar. "It definitely would be, if only because of the nice comfy four poster within in my stateroom. Seems like someone got the memo on old world grandeur being back." Or, you know, just how some people could be. It certainly saved the whole packing (and possibly having the TSA) find an array of other little tricks and treats that people liked to play with. "You know, I really am quite glad that I met you, sweetie."

This was definitely proving to have been an excellent idea on Helena's part to have come on this cruise. Myka had been the one to finally convince her to go, knowing how much she needed to get away from everything and unwind a bit. It was the beginning of a fresh start, one in which that she hoped to come out all the better for. At the very least, she wasn't going to get caught up in any Warehouse crap that made her feel exhausted beyond all reason.

This conversation was definitely going to good places, ones that Helena definitely wanted to go and explore. After all, she had nothing to lose, and she wanted to live a bit, to pull herself out of the hole she'd been in and try to improve her overall mood. Which wasn't all that difficult when talking with a beautiful woman who was clearly interested.

"Indeed they did. I have always been fond of four poster beds." They really had multiple uses, and Helena's eyebrows lifted a bit as a sultry smirk crossed her face. She polished off the rest of her scotch and set the glass on the bar. "I'm glad that I met you as well, darling. And to think I nearly didn't come and would have missed out on such ravishing company."
