Who: YOU
What: Cruise ship mingle!
Where: Cruise ship, dummy!
When: The first night
Why: Let's get to know each other before we all die!

It's a beautiful night. A full moon. The stars are in the sky, and the dining room is open to the fresh air. It's the first night of the cruise, and it's a great time to start meeting people! I'm sure everything will be fine. Nothing could possibly go wrong on a night like this...

[Mingle! Let's all get to know each other before things start happening!]

Not for the first time, Julia Bellamy was quite glad that she didn't have a problem controlling her wolf during a full moon. Oh, her neighbors might have heard a howl or two from her stateroom before she arrived to the party fashionably late, but at least she wasn't out here bathing in everyone's blood or anything like that. No, instead she's simply and dressed in a fun outfit and holding one of those very long and very loudly colored drinks. It might have been her eighth on of the evening (damned werewolf physiology) but not even that was a drag on her at the moment.

After all, the drinks were cold and tropical and sweet (all of her favorite kinds even if she wouldn't admit it to anyone but to David and even then the admitting had come in the form of drunken preferences more than anything else) the wind was in her hair and she was finally safe on on vacation for the first time in longer than she cared to admit. Flashing a smile at the nearest attractive person, Julia moved closer to them with a grin. "Well, hello you."

Helena was moving through the dining room, chatting with some people as she went. She'd just gotten her scotch refilled and was standing and scanning the people around her. She had to say, this was prime opportunity for people-watching. It did take her mind away from her troubles, so there was a definite upside she'd be enjoying out here.

Hearing a voice, Helena turned and saw the blonde woman. Her gaze ran over the woman, eyebrows arching a bit in intrigue. She was certainly attractive. "Hello yourself. It would seem that you are enjoying yourself thus far?" Judging from the size of the drink she had in her hand, it was an easy assumption to make.

There was just something about a fine woman who knew how to drink scotch. Oh, Julia could actually do it if she wanted to, but right now the tropical drinks just seemed right on brand for where they were. But for right now, Julia was quite glad to be openly admiring of that fact. Standing up a little bit straighter, she shrugged with one shoulder and smirked. "Well, I suppose I really can't complain. Sometimes a girl just needs a vacation from every little thing on her mind." Blue eyes flashed in a suggestive way at that, before Julia caught the over-sized straw between her teeth and took a rather large gulp from it.

With that done, Julia offered a hand to the brunette with a smirk, and thankfully, it wasn't the cold one that had been grasping the drink. "Julia. How are you doing, sweetie?"

"I certainly agree with that sentiment." It was true. Besides, being on a ship had a way of separating one from the world. Here, Helena could try and forget for a little while, at least. And forgetting was certainly easier with good company and a good drink. Of which she was hoping she currently had both. At least that suggestive flash in those blue eyes seemed to suggest that.

Helena took the offered hand and shook it with a firm grip. "Helena. I am better now upon meeting you." She smiled, a glint in her dark eyes. "I admit this is my first time on a cruise. What about you?" Luckily Helena didn't get sea sick, otherwise this interaction would be less flirtatious on her part.

"Helena, that's quite a pretty name." Jules certainly sounds like she believes it, and her handshake matches Helena's firm grip, but there's just a little brush of her thumb along the back of the woman's hand. It's almost as if Julia is testing the softness of the pale skin there, and wondering just how much of the rest of it matches that same sensation. Sometimes Julia could be quite the terrible flirt. Well, most of the time she could be a terrible flirt, and it was something that apparently was going to double while during their vacation.

"Nope, can't ever say that I have been on one before. I like it though! A shit ton of free drinks," with that, Julia raised her monstrosity and took another large sip of it before she spoke again. "Good food, excellent company and lots of staterooms where one can get into all manners of mischief." Mischief of course came with a smirk and a wink, because what is subtly when you are one Julia Bellamy.

"Thank you," she responded. Helena didn't get that compliment much. Of course, she'd been using the name Emily Lake since she'd retired from the Warehouse. But now she was back to using Helena because she didn't like lying more than she had to about who she was. And, frankly, that was what had doomed her relationship with Nate, the fact that she'd lied about who she was.

As Julia was testing the softness of her skin, Helena did take note. And she would be pleased to know that Helena did keep her skin very soft. Moisturizer and lotion was a thing she liked to use.

Helena chuckled. "One can never argue with free drinks." She took a sip of her own drink, eyeing Julia. "Oh indeed, there are plenty of ways to get into mischief. The more creative, the better," she mirrored Julia's smirk. And Helena definitely meant what she said. She liked being creative in all aspects of her life. It was, quite frankly, the spice of life. And if someone could keep up with her in the bedroom? Even better. "Besides, it would be a travesty to allow such excellent rooms to go to waste by not using them." While the sights of the ocean were amazingly beautiful, and there was plenty of other things to do on the ship, there was beauty and fun to be had within the staterooms as well.

"I do so happen to be rather fond of creative mischief." Julia's voice was a long draw and she probably was being terribly rude to everyone else aboard the ship right now, but she was quite fond of flirting and everything that went along with it. Especially if it happened to be with a beautiful woman who was offering all sorts of fun little ideas even without actually saying the words. Yes, this trip was quite possibly the best idea that she'd had in ages.

When she got home, she really was going to need to tell David how he should have come along with her because of just how fun it was. If only she knew about what was going to happen between now and when they docked.

But, for now, Julia just finished off the drink that she'd been savoring, and she set it back on the bar. "It definitely would be, if only because of the nice comfy four poster within in my stateroom. Seems like someone got the memo on old world grandeur being back." Or, you know, just how some people could be. It certainly saved the whole packing (and possibly having the TSA) find an array of other little tricks and treats that people liked to play with. "You know, I really am quite glad that I met you, sweetie."

This was definitely proving to have been an excellent idea on Helena's part to have come on this cruise. Myka had been the one to finally convince her to go, knowing how much she needed to get away from everything and unwind a bit. It was the beginning of a fresh start, one in which that she hoped to come out all the better for. At the very least, she wasn't going to get caught up in any Warehouse crap that made her feel exhausted beyond all reason.

This conversation was definitely going to good places, ones that Helena definitely wanted to go and explore. After all, she had nothing to lose, and she wanted to live a bit, to pull herself out of the hole she'd been in and try to improve her overall mood. Which wasn't all that difficult when talking with a beautiful woman who was clearly interested.

"Indeed they did. I have always been fond of four poster beds." They really had multiple uses, and Helena's eyebrows lifted a bit as a sultry smirk crossed her face. She polished off the rest of her scotch and set the glass on the bar. "I'm glad that I met you as well, darling. And to think I nearly didn't come and would have missed out on such ravishing company."

A: One of the nightclubs

[Cissie has never been on a real, honest-to-God vacation before; she's certainly never been on a cruise. And yet now, here she is, on a cruise ship, away from the pressures and expectations of real life. It's a little terrifying, but mostly exciting, especially since it's just starting, and she hasn't had time to get bored yet. Not that she will. This cruise offers more than enough to keep her busy, if she needs distracting. For now, she's content to check out one of the nightclubs and see if the music and dancing and fruity drinks with umbrellas are as fun as they looked in the ads.

So far, they definitely are living up to the hype. She's found herself a table off to one side of the dance floor, sipping at whatever pink frothy concoction she just bought, and is watching the crowd, content to people watch for now.]

B: The deck
[It's a gorgeous night. The cruise ship is impressive, but Cissie is not sure anything can really match the view from the deck at night. The sky and sea extend as far as she can see in every direction, making her feel very small. Even with a full moon, there are more stars in the sky than she's ever seen in her entire life. It's cool on the deck, with the sea air blowing through her hair, but she's not cold yet. Cissie's not sure she'll be able to see all of the stars, even if she stays up all night out here. She settles herself in one of the deck chairs, leaning back to look up and try to identify the constellations above her.]

C: YOUR CHOICE
[Meet Cissie at a location of your choice! She's friendly, she's excited to be on a cruise, and she's ready to make use of all the amenities. Feel free to run into her wherever! I'm also happy to match prose or brackets, and past or present tense.]

[Cissie looks up when she hears him approaching, and can't help but break out into a smile. She accepts the blanket, wrapping it around herself as she turns around to lean against the railing and face him.]

That would be very disappointing, going on a cruise only to freeze on the first night. You're so thoughtful.

This was Helena's first vacation in...well over a century. She'd still been a child the last time she'd gone on vacation, or what could be considered vacation. But after recent events, and the debacle that was her life, Helena had decided to get away from everything. She, frankly, deserved some relaxation and to try to get her life back on track. Sometimes it definitely sucked trying to fit in in a world that was still a bit foreign to her.

So here she was on a cruise. Being in the middle of the ocean, she thought, was the best place to be. It was away from everything that made her feel old and tired. Perhaps here she could find a new lease on life. So after settling into her cabin, she went off to mingle. Helena grabbed a drink, a stiff scotch on the rocks, and she put on a smiling face. Part of her just wanted to be alone, but she felt she should try to be social, otherwise she'd miss out on the point of even taking this vacation.

She was dressed in dark skinny jeans, boots, and a blue button up blouse. She wore a somewhat peculiar-looking locket around her neck, a pair of pearl earrings, though those weren't so easily spotted unless she tucked her hair behind her ear, which would also reveal a couple cartilage piercings on both ears. Sipping on her drink, she made her way around, making some small talk with other passengers, unless someone really grabbed her attention.

This wasn't her idea at all. In fact, it had been her parents brilliant idea to send her on this cruise for some 'TLC' thinking she was like her sister and would want a cruise.

No, thank you. Just give her money or buy her a car. She hated boats and she hated people. She also hated participating in 'activities' that these people seemed into.

But, it had one thing going for it. Alcohol.

Which was why she was currently at the bar, dressed in a red knotted jersey gown and having the first of many drinks. She wished someone cool was here - like Andy or even Leslie.

April wasn't going to go out of her way to introduce herself to anyone unless it was the bartender. Bartenders were good people to become friends with, right? They had access to alcohol.
